New Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Cynthia Morrow

Dr. Cynthia Morrow

The PAIA Department is very excited to welcome Dr. Cynthia Morrow to our teaching team as a part-time Professor of Practice in Public Health. Dr. Morrow will teach courses in Public Health Policy and Public Health Administration. She served as Onondaga County’s Health Commissioner for the past nine years, and prior to that was Director of Preventative Health for Onondaga County.

Cynthia recently addressed the outgoing MPA students in their Executive Leadership class and we are pleased to have her join our department in a more permanent teaching and advising capacity.  She will be an integral part of the teaching and advising team for the Master of Public Health program as well as the Certificate programs in Public Health and Health Services Management and Policy.

Dr. Morrow also holds teaching appointments with SUNY Upstate Medical University where she is an Assistant Professor in Public Health and Preventative Medicine as well as Pediatrics.
