DACOR Bacon House Foundation Fellowship & Maxwell

DACOR Bacon House
Washington, DC
The Maxwell School of Syracuse University is pleased to be selected by the DACOR Bacon House Foundation for a 2015-16 Graduate Fellowship. DACOR (Diplomatic and Consular Officers Retired) is an organization for foreign affairs professionals. Founded in 1952, it is a place to continue fostering interests in foreign affairs, maintain and renew friendships, to celebrate shared lives in distant places, and to meet younger officers as they begin their careers.
The DACOR Bacon House Foundation was established for the purpose of contributing to the development of mutual international understanding and the strengthening of ties between the people of the United States and other nations. To this end it pursues programs of a public and educational nature to enhance public awareness and foster educated leadership in international affairs. The Foundation awards scholarships and fellowships to dependents of Foreign Service Officers and students of international affairs, hosts an annual conference on a topic of international importance, and maintains the historic DACOR Bacon House and its collections.
Applications from first year students are now being solicited for the 2015-16 DACOR Bacon House Foundation Fellowship. This fellowship will provide generous tuition support during a student’s second year of study at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. We are honored to be associated with this highly respected organization in international affairs, and are pleased to be chosen as one of the institutions they will partner with for the 2015-16 DACOR Bacon House Foundation Fellowship program.
