Congratulations to PAIA Students for their Winning FAST FORWARD Proposals!

SU’s Inauguration Ceremony for Chancellor Syverud

Congratulations Timi Komonibo and Andrew Lunetta!  We are very proud of our PAIA students being recognized for their FAST FORWARD winning ideas to improve our community.  The FAST FORWARD competition was created to celebrate the inauguration our Syracuse University’s newest Chancellor, Kent Syverud.  SU students were able to pitch their ideas to make Syracuse University and the surrounding community better.  Thirteen winners were selected out of the nearly 70 video proposals submitted. We are very proud to congratulate Timi Komonibo, a first year Public Diplomacy student, and Andrew Lunetta, an MPA student for their winning submissions. You may view all thirteen winners here. Timi’s proposal on sustainable fashion can be found at 23:18.  Andrew’s proposal on “tiny homes, big hearts” to help tackle persistent homelessness can be found at 30:00.  Each recipient will be provided a grant of up to $1500 to implement their ideas.  All the ideas from SU undergraduates and graduates alike further demonstrating the positive attitude of all SU students – that “we can do amazing things”!  Congratulations to all the FAST FORWARD winners!
