Did you know that Maxwell’s PAIA Department has a unique Transatlantic dual degree program that MPA and MA IR students may apply for each year?  The Atlantis Transatlantic Dual Degree Program in International Security and Development Policy allows the student to earn the MPA or MA IR from SU/Maxwell and a second degree from either the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin or the Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University in the Hague.  The program is supported by the European Commission and the US Department of Education with the aim of enhancing student mobility, innovation, curriculum development and academic recognition between the EU and the US.  US students receive s stipend of $12,000 to support their time in the EU and EU citizens receive a stipend of 12,000 Euros for their time in the US.  The program is administered by the Moynihan European Research Centers of the Maxwell School.   Students need to submit an additional statement of interest for Atlantis program eligibility.
