William Banks – Comments on Whistleblower Laws

William Banks, Board of Advisors Distinguished Professor of Law in the College of Law and professor of public administration and international affairs at the Maxwell School commented on U.S. whistleblower laws for the international media website site Deutsche Welle.

Bill also serves at the Director of the Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism (INSCT).  Professor Banks is an internationally recognized authority in national security law, counterterrorism, international humanitarian law, and constitutional law.  He has helped set the parameters for the field of national security law – co-authoring the textbook National Security Law, now in its fifth edition – and helped define the emerging scholarly field of counterterrorism law with the textbook Counterterrorism Law. 

Professor Banks co-taught Central Challenges to National Security Law & Policy with Dean Jim Steinberg this year. He also teaches National Security Law and Counterterrorism Law.
