Maxwell Celebrates 90 in Style

Yesterday in the Maxwell/Eggers Commons, decked out in 1920’s splendor, Chancellor Syverud and Dean Steinberg lead all in attendance in a heartfelt rendition of “Happy Birthday” to the Maxwell School.  Afterward, all the faculty, staff and students, “partied like it was 1924” to celebrate the 90^th anniversary of the founding of the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University! This party was just one in a series of events celebrating the 90 year history of the founding of our school – and thusly the MPA program.  SU also celebrates Orange Central this weekend with a number of alumni events, the Arents Award Luncheon today, and topped off with SU Orange football tomorrow!  What an exciting time for our students and the many dedicated faculty and staff, to really be able to hear, see and learn about the rich tradition and history of this wonderful school and university!
