Tom Dennison Honored for Community Work

Professor Tom Dennison was recently presented the St. Joseph the Worker Award by the St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center Foundation.  Tom Dennison is the Director of the Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion; Director for the Program in Health Services Management and Policy (HSMP Certificate) and Associate Director of the Central New York Master of Public Health program jointly managed by the Maxwell School of Syracuse University and the State University of New York Upstate Medical University.

Tom Dennison has been teaching courses at Maxwell as a Professor of Practice since the mid-1990s.  He currently teaches courses in Health Care Management, Health Care Finance, and the Federal Health Care System.  He is an invaluable advisor to students interested in health care management and policy in the PA and IR programs.
