Admissions Webinars – Log In and Learn

Finally, with the help of a fabulous Graduate Assistant (and current student – thank you Sarah!) I have been able to create and implement a series of Admissions Webinars directed to our prospective – and even in the spring, admitted students.  I have actually created and been presenting webinars for outside groups  for YEARS (Fulbright, Teach for America, PPIA, APSIA) – but this is the first time I am finally hosting our very own Admissions Webinar Series.  While we have just started (and despite some minor technological issues – I am really NOT the most tech savvy person out here!), I am excited about how many prospective students we can reach with this helpful information.

We have two more scheduled Webinars (both on the applications process) this month:

APPLYING TO MAXWELL’S PA AND IR PROGRAMS
Provides an overview of the applications process, what Admission’s Directors are looking for when reading an application, and tips on how to prepare and present a competitive application to a top school of public policy, administration & international affairs.

In the Spring, join us for some new webinars on Faculty & the Research, Our Global and Internship Programs for IR students, and one on Logistics for Admitted Students.  Our aim is to have webinars to reach you at every phase of the process: from Exploring Graduate Study in General (we presented this earlier in the fall), Applying, and of course learning more about our Maxwell PA and IR programs – and why this is such a special community!
